When online Nepali typing is the right choice
Online Nepali typing is the right choice when you are on a computer you do not own, when you cannot install input methods, or when you need a single Nepali sentence for a message and a full keyboard would be overkill. Type, copy, paste, close the tab. See also the home tool .
Facebook, Messenger and other social apps
Write your post here, press Copy, then paste into the composer. The text arrives as plain Unicode Devanagari, so it looks the same to everyone reading it and it can be searched and copied like any other text. See also the typing practice page .
Email and documents
The same copy-and-paste flow works in Gmail, Outlook, Google Docs, Word and most CMS editors. Because the output is Unicode, the file stays editable and searchable, unlike documents written in an old non-Unicode font, where the letters are stored as unrelated Latin characters. Mobile browsers
The page works on phones as well, with a sticky Copy bar at the bottom of the screen. If you have a Nepali keyboard on the phone already, typing directly in the Devanagari box is usually quicker.
Nothing is uploaded
Conversion happens in your browser. The page makes no network request containing your text, so a draft message stays private even on a shared computer.

No. This page works with the keyboard your computer already has. Nothing is installed and no account is created.
Will the text look right on the other person’s phone?
Yes. The output is standard Unicode Devanagari, which every modern phone, tablet and computer can display.
